I've redesigned the blog as I thought it was time for a fresh new look! Hope you like it :)  This coincides with the relaunch of my Ezine on a new service, so today i'll be working on getting to grips with the new system!

What are your outcomes for 2007?

The following quote  arrived today in my daily email from Brian Proctor. I do think it's particularly appropriate (especially at the start of 2007) ......we all need to create a life around what we love, then things go a lot more smoothly!  So what motivates you? what makes you excited about life? Have you included it in your outcomes for 2007?  I know I have.  The coming year will be full of all the things I love doing. Hope yours will be as well?

George_lucas_2 "You have to find something that you love enough to be able to take risks, jump over the hurdles & break through the brick walls that are always going to be placed in front of you. If you don't have that kind of feeling for what it is you are doing, you'll stop at the first giant hurdle."

George Lucas (Film Director & Producer)

New Year Resolutions....

First of all, & most importantly, wishing you & your loved ones a very Happy New Year! May 2007 be your best year yet.

New Year's Resolutions for many people often don't last long (i've been guilty of this in the past). The start of a New Year is a good time to think about what you want your outcomes to be for the year ahead. I always encourage my clients to write down their goals, something I do as well. It really helps to think ahead to the outcomes you want as well as making detailed plans to achieve those.

Here's a FREE tool you can use, hope you find it helpful :)

Jenni Murray

Jenni_murray I was shocked to hear this morning that Jenni Murray had announced she is suffering from breast cancer & will be shortly starting treatment. I met her on Tuesday this week when she interviewed me, Phil Asherson & Kelly  at Womans Hour on BBC Radio 4. She was just so very nice, so professional & showed absolutely no indication of what must be an enormous worry on her mind.

Breast Cancer seems to affect so many women, those I know & have known. Fortunately most women & men (yes men do get breast cancer, i was shocked to find out that fact!) survive these days which up to date treatments. It's such an important cause which is why I walked 60k last year to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

I wish Jenni well & hope she has a speedy return back to good health.

What's In a Name!

Redfox_snow_beautifulcutefoxie_3 It's an important day for me, today's the day when I go back to being a Fox! It's something i've wanted to do for a while, in fact since my marriage ended six years ago. It feels natural to be back to my family name, although a bit strange! I've been madly practising my new signature - think it's perfected now after pages of testing different versions! I haven't been a Fox since I was 19 so it'll take a bit of adjusting!

The downside is

Ball Lightning - have you ever seen it?

Ball_lightning_1 We had a huge thunderstorm & heavy rain very early this morning - 5/6am! Now i'm a person who loves a good storm & would throw open all the windows if it wasn't for the rain coming in. After being awake for ages i went downstairs to get some water. Alerted by a noise & light I looked outside the dining room window to see a very bright ball shaped object, it was obviously electrical in nature & crackling & sizzling.

Eating that Frog!

Frog_2 Welcome to my new Blog - think this is going to be fun!

I was just thinking about my favourite books & looking at my bulging bookshelves today. Why have I got so many books?  Hmmmm, I wondering if there's a self help organisation called "Book Buyers Anonymous" or maybe I should start one?  Anyway, it was good to revisit some good books. I'll be re-reading "Eat That Frog" by Brian Tracy & remembering what he taught me before about dealing with procrastination.

I've wanted a Blog for simply ages but not got around to it.... my "mistake" was mentioning it to my coaching group so now I have homework (thank you Judith & Marion!).  So here it is, hope you enjoy it & visit again.   Nothing like making your commitment public to make things happen!!
